Blink Lash Boutique started in 2008 in a tiny one room studio in Mission Valley by Janelle Koch who was passionate about specializing in this exciting new service. Having been an esthetician for several years already she was familiar with the industry and set out to provide the best quality in eyelash extension application. It didn’t take long before she was outgrowing her space and brought on friend and fellow esthetician Jen Pearson to help.
Then in 2010 it was time to open their North County location in Solana Beach. After years of operating the two San Diego locations, they have decided to finally take the leap to open their 3rd location in Janelle’s home town of Spokane, WA. It has been a vision for several years that is finally becoming a reality.

As Blink Lash Boutique continues to grow the two owners have preserved their original dedication to quality and customer service in their boutiques. Truly pioneers within the industry, they have set the standard for quality application and client care dedicated to eyelash extensions.

Originally from Spokane, WA and a licensed Esthetician since 1999, Blink’s founder Janelle Koch has been specializing in Eyelash Extensions since February 2006. When she first heard about this exciting new technique, she knew she had to be involved. Janelle took the training course through Xtreme Lashes in February 2006, and received her Advanced Certification in November 2006.

Since starting her own business in San Diego in March of 2008, Janelle has seen Blink grow and evolve into what it is today, a thriving lash boutique with the reputation for bringing amazing customer service, responsible application and the highest quality products to our clients. She continues to take trainings from the best in the industry to ensure she is always learning and able to offer the latest and best techniques.

Prior to her involvement with Eyelash Extensions, she worked in several high end salons and spas as well as being a part of the medical esthetics industry, where she ran the skin care department of a reputable plastic surgeon’s office.
Janelle is the proud mom to her 8 year old son Harper James. He is the love of her life and her motivation to succeed.

With her career Janelle is more focused than ever on building and growing Blink Lash Boutique into a name in that is synonymous with the best in quality and art of eyelash extensions.

A licensed Esthetician since 2003, Jen Pearson has worked at many of the top day spas throughout northern and southern California, that is where she spent years developing and growing her knowledge of skin care. Her desire to expand her skill set in the beauty industry led her to eyelash extensions; she became certified in 2007 and later became a certified trainer with JB Cosmetics. Having always had the dream of opening a specialty eyelash boutique, Jen partnered with Janelle and Blink Lash Boutique in 2010. In Spring of 2018, Jen visited Spokane for the first time and instantly feel in love! Shortly after, Blink Spokane was open for business. In January 2021, Jen her husband Mike and their two daughters, MarKenley (8) & Josselyn (5) sold their home in San Diego and made the permanent move to Spokane and haven't looked back! Jen specializes in classic lashes extensions & Lash Lifts.
